LMA Regulatory Insights – Mar 2026

March 2026

Welcome to a new edition of the Regulatory Insights Newsletter!

The countdown is on for the LMA’s first Regulatory Seminar & Networking Drinks, taking place on the afternoon and evening of 30 April at a great location in the heart of Brussels! We have an excellent line-up of speakers, including a keynote from Hélène Bussières (Head of the Asset Management Unit at DG FISMA). The programme will also feature an thought-provoking panel on the role of securitisation in strengthening capital markets and financing the real economy, with insights from Anne Wrobel (Head of Wholesale Market Analysis & Policy at the FCA) and other leading experts.

Join us to hear the latest perspectives on the evolving financial services agenda. The discussion will be followed by networking drinks, offering a chance to connect with policymakers, regulators, and market participants in a historic setting. We hope to see many of you there! Register now.

See below for the latest on the LMA’s broader efforts to support efficient and effective regulation of the trillion‑dollar EMEA loan markets through proactive member education, collaboration on priorities and messaging, and credible engagement with policymakers.

If you have any questions or would like further information about our work, please do not hesitate to contact Jesse Beardsworth or Evelien Alblas.
